Groundhog pate

Served annually on February 2.

Cut three large red peppers into slices. Add a bit of olive oil. Air fryer at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until you see a lot of black spots.

Toast a piece of bread, gluten free is fine.

Toast a cup of walnuts at 310 degrees for six minutes.

Add all three to the food processor. Add two or three tablespoons of pomegranate syrup. One teaspoon of salt. A teaspoon of sushi vinegar and a teaspoon of good olive oil.

For texture and salt and crunch, considering adding a handful of good quality potato chips.

Process off and on until it’s between chunky and smooth. (Yes, this is Turkish Muhammara, with new branding).

Refrigerate.
