Honey-oatmeal vodka

I serve this to guests. They seem to like it.

1 liter of gluten-free vodka. Not the cheapest, not the fancy stuff either.

1 cup of gluten-free oats, fast cooking is fine.

1 pound of honey. Use a neutral one, nothing with non-subtle flavors.

Mix the three ingredients together in a sealable jar. Shake to stir.

Shake again tomorrow morning.

Shake again tomorrow afternoon.

Two days from now, shake one more time, then let it settle for five minutes. Strain, pouring the liquid back into the original bottle using a funnel.

Discard the oats, though I imagine you could put them in the garden or make some sort of boozy pancakes.

Store the bottle in the freezer.
